The Sisco Model 7Q Handcuff Security Cover

Description

The Model 7Q handcuff security cover is made from heavy gauge cold worked stainless steel and it comes with a unique quick connect waist chain.

The Model 7Q is recommended for County Sheriffs as a special high-security option when transporting a high-risk inmate.

Inmates will see a more relaxed posture in the sitting position and an improved level of dignity in the manner of their restraint as compared to box type handcuff cover.

The Model 7Q with unique waist chain comes in a lockable carry case with space for your choice of handcuffs, leg irons and a padlock, and it's organized and ready when you need it.

The Model 7Q handcuff security cover protects handcuff keyways from picking or tampering and it has unique angled ends that position the hands and arms of an individual in a relaxed posture that greatly reduces pressure on the wrists to help facilitate a safe and secure transport.

Only these high quality handcuffs are recommended for use in the model 7Q handcuff security cover, Peerless standard and oversize chain link handcuffs or Smith & Wesson standard size chain link handcuffs.

Note: Smith & Wesson over size handcuffs are not recommended for use with the model 7Q handcuff security cover.

Standard Operating Procedure
Secure a set of handcuffs on the wrist of an individual and set the double locks.

Place the model 7Q security cover down over the keyway lock portions of the handcuffs until fully seated.

Insert the link pin "taper side up" through the back of the security cover and rotate the link pin 180 degrees.

Place the chain around the waist of the individual and insert the master link through the chain link that best meets the individuals waist size and make it a snug fit, then pull the tail of the chain up through the master link and secure a padlock through the chains at the side then add a second padlock at the front of the link pin.
