The Sisco Model 7P Handcuff Security Cover

Description:

The model 7P handcuff security cover is a one piece high strength high impact polymer, there is no hinge or security clip involved in applying or securing the Modell 7P, it's a major improvement over box type handcuff covers.

The model 7P is recommended for inmate transport and in-house cell moves.

The model 7P has unique angled ends that greatly reduce pressure on the wrists and distress during restraint.

Inmates will see a more relaxed posture and an improved level of dignity in the manner of their restraint as compared to box type handcuff covers.

The Model 7P protects handcuff keyways from picking or tampering.

Only these waist chains are recommended for use with the Model 7P handcuff security cover, C&S security #2 chains and the Chicago model A-800.

The Sisco Model 7B-L Brahma restraint belt is recommended for use with the Model 7P handcuff security cover.

Only these high quality handcuffs are recommended for use with the Model 7P handcuff security cover, Peerless standard and oversize chain link handcuffs, the ASP Sentry, and S&W Model 100 standard size chain link handcuffs.

Standard Operating Procedure:
Secure a set of handcuffs on the wrist of an individual and set the double locks.
Place the model 7P security cover down over the keyway lock portions of the handcuffs until fully seated.

Then place the waist chain around the individual and insert the master link through the chain link that best meets the individuals waist size or that meets your security needs for allowable hand and arm movement.

Then continue by inserting the master link through the back of the security cover and pull the tail of the chain up through the front of the master link and around to the side for securing with a padlock.
